Overview

Rust-Oleum Furniture Finishing Wax is a blend of natural waxes to protect bare wood projects and is the ideal partner for sealing and protecting chalk paint finishes, such as Rust-Oleum Chalky Finish Furniture Paint.

Preparation

For the best results, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean, dry and free from dirt, dust or any other surface contaminants. If over-coating chalky paint finishes, ensure these are properly dry before proceeding.

Application

Always do a small test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish.

Apply 2 generous coats of Rust-Oleum Furniture Finishing Wax with a soft cloth or soft bristled brush
Allow 15 mins to dry before buffing the surface for a sheen with a mildly abrasive pad or clean, microfibre cloth

Aftercare

Inspect regularly for signs of wear and tear. When it's time for a refresh, simply apply a fresh coat of Rust-Oleum Furniture Finishing Wax, following the Preparation and Application instructions above.
