Ronseal One Coat Everywhere Paint is a water-based matt paint that will offer a rich colour and tough protection to walls, ceilings, skirting, radiators, and more. Designed for use in every interior room, this quick-drying paint is grease, stain, and mould resistant, as well as being washable.
To aid with choosing a suitable colour, Ronseal have produced an innovative Peel and Stick colour patch. Available as a self adhesive pre-painted colour patch, they can be applied to various rooms or locations and help to judge the suitability of the colour.
To get the best results, ensure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean, dry and free from dust, dirt and any other surface contaminants. If using on ferrous metal or copper use a specialist primer first.
Previously painted walls
- Sand off any loose or flaking paint
- Wipe the walls with a damp cloth to get rid of any dust or dirt
- If you're trying to cover a contrasting colour use a basecoat first
Bare plaster
- If you've had your walls and ceilings re-plastered, let it dry for 7 days before paint
- Once dry the plaster will need sealing
Bare and previously painted wood
- Give the wood a light sand with 120 grit sandpaper, then wipe away the dust with a damp cloth
- Fill any holes and cracks
- Treat any knots in the wood with Ronseal Knot Block Wood Primer and Undercoat
Always do a test area before starting any project to assess product suitability and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin at all times.
Ensure the room is above 10°C. Open doors and windows for ventilation and cover any areas you don't want to get paint on.
Please note: This product should not be thinned.
- Stir the paint thoroughly before use
- If using more than one tin of the same colour, mix them together. This will ensure the colour is consistent
- Apply with a good quality synthetic paint brush, roller
- For best results always work from dry to wet areas
- Don't spread paint too thin. Extra coats may be needed when trying to cover bold or contrasting colours
- Touch dry in 1 hour
- If a second coat is needed wait 2-4 hours.
