Preparation

For the best results, ensure that surfaces to be treated are clean, dry and free of dirt, dust and grease. Remove all loose, failing or suspect paint.

Powdery, chalking, polished or heavily stained areas should be primed with Crown Trade PX4 All Purpose Primer
Porous surfaces should be primed with a diluted first coat of Crown Trade Clean Extreme Mould Inhibiting Scrubbable Matt
Fill any holes or cracks with a suitable filler
Feather edges and then wash down any sound paintwork prior to redecoration
If after any cleaning staining or bleeding still occurs, patch prime with Crown Trade PX3 All Purpose Primer

Application

Always try a test area before starting any project to assess compatibility of the final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin at all times.

Stir Crown Trade Clean Extreme Mould Inhibiting Scrubbable Matt thoroughly before and during use, making sure to reach the pigment in the top and bottom creases of the tin
Apply 2 generous, even coats using a high-quality synthetic bristle brush or medium pile roller
For airless spray application, dilution may be required
Allow 4 hours between coats

A small residue of colour may be wiped away when the painted surface is first cleaned. This is entirely normal and in no way compromises the integrity or finished appearance of the paint film. Marks on the painted surface can be wiped away with a damp cloth. This product will take 1 week to become fully cured and scrubbable.

Aftercare

When it's time for a refresh, simply apply a fresh coat of Crown Trade Clean Extreme Mould Inhibiting Scrubbable Matt as required, following the Preparation and Application instructions above.
